A Summary of the Science
What is Cardio Fuel and why does it Work?
Definition:A combination of naturally occurring substances that increase levels of ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate), the energy unit of transfer in all human cells. Disease, stress and physical exertion all deplete ATP. Thus restoring ATP, at the most basic metabolic level, greatly increases energy, relieves disease symptoms, improves Quality of Life (QOL), and insures maximum performance for
athletes.
The three synergistic main components of the Metabolic ATP Induction System are: D-Ribose: A necessary building block, the very backbone of the ATP molecule. You cannot make more ATP without more D-Ribose to start with. Tastes slightly sweet. (see Fig. 1)
(FIG. 1 Text) : ATP molecule showing D-Ribose (in red), from which the entire structure is built.
Carnitine: A proprietary blend of various carnitines maximizes fuel production in heart, muscle and brain tissues. Carnitine shuttle fatty acids (fuel precursors) into the mitochondria – the energy power plants of cells. This dramatically increases the raw fuel source needed for ATP production(see Fig 2).
(FIG. 2 Text) : Diagram of Carnitine (red) carrying fatty acids (fuel precursors) across the mitochondrial membrane, for conversion to ATP.
CoQ10: Well-known antioxidant (quenching Free Radical damage), found in all cells; also assists energy production via the electron transport chain. A crucial process final step.
Results:Combining these supplements replenishes ATP depleted through disease, athletics, environmental toxic exposure, aging, even stressful lifestyle. ATP depletion is both a result, and a cause, of serious disease. While each of these three supplements have been shown by numerous scientific studies to help increase ATP stores, the combination provides Energy Synergy.
CardioFuel can dramatically reduce the symptoms, and improve the lifestyle, of those with: Heart Failure, High Blood Pressure, Lung Disease, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, MS, PVD, Neurological Disorders, Depression, Fatigue, Cancer, ED, even “normal” aging.
Additionally, dedicated
athletes who train for strength and/or endurance perform better – both while recovering from workouts (resulting in faster gains) and on competition day!
